My Experience to Parasanath Hill
Giridih is 5-6 hours from Ranchi via road, so we have decided to start our journey at 3 PM from Ranchi. By 9 PM, we reached near the main gate of Parasnath mountain. We got a hotel room whose manager was my colleague’s friend. Actually, we had already called him to book a room for us, so we didn’t struggle to get a hotel room there.
We ordered our dinner in the room and went to sleep. At morning 3 AM we got out of our bed and became ready to start our trekking from the base.
However, the bike facility was available. We didn’t take this facility and decided to trek on foot. It took around 6 hours to reach the peak of this mountain, and this was really exhausting. But when we finally reached the peak, the cool weather and the nature surrounding the mountain took our fatigue.
It was really a mesmerizing experience for us. We spent two hours on the peak and then returned to our hotel. This whole journey was breathtaking for us, especially the trekking and the moments we spent over the peak.

How to Plan Your Trip to Parasnath Hill
There are two ways to plan your trip to Parasnath Hill. First one is by booking a tour package and the second is by booking a hotel near the main gate of this pilgrimage site. If you book a tour, then you don’t need to plan your itinerary to Parasnath Hill as your tour guide, will do it for you.
If you don’t want to book a tour package to Parasnath, then you can go there individually via Dhanbad or via Ranchi. Just book train tickets to one of them and keep in mind that you have to reach the base of this mountain one day before trekking. So book the train tickets, according to this plan.
